First post.... and news of a teenage girl's lovelife.

Well, I finally started a blog. Why? .... I'm not quite sure myself. I've started blogs before, like on MySpace or something but never really kept it for long. I always got bored of it and never had anything to post. What's so special about this time? Well, this time I intend on actually posting something and actually using this.

Now, for some real news.... Feeling kinda... down these past few days. Missing someone special who I'll never see again (and I'm not talking about Steve Irwin.) Maybe I should start at the beginning?

A couple of months ago we (my class) got a exchange student. From France. (Well, it was a French language class >.>) She's from Paris and 17 years old. Sophie.... it was great having her around. She was a great help with homework (there were some beginners in my class and they know very little, so Sophie helped them a lot.) and, it was lots of fun having her around.

If you don't want to hear about a teenage girl's lovelife (or lack of), then stop reading.... NOW.

Still here? You want to know? Alright. I fell for her. I don't know why, maybe it was one of those love-at-first-sight things or something, but I thought she was beautiful. I didn't know what to do as I've never been through this before, so I did nothing really. I started avoiding her at school as much as I could (she wasn't in my classes, as she's a senior and I'm a junior, so it wasn't hard) and tried not to think about her as often. I think it helped, and I thought I was over her. But, now I feel kind of betrayed.... like she left me on purpose, though she doesn't have a choice because she has to go back to France D:. It kinda hurts to hear her name spoken, or to really think about her. Basically, no one knows about my "crush" on Sophie and I wanted it that way, because gossip spreads so fast at my school. Like, in less than a couple of hours, everyone will know. I kept silent about it and didn't tell anyone, except for a couple of very well trusted friends. For the last couple of weeks that Sophie was here I debated with myself whether I should tell her or not.

I decided not to. I didn't want to be dudged and I thought I'd scare her and she'd run away. But, the one week that I had to get the flu, was Sophie's last week at school. I missed signing the good-bye card and the going-away party D:. I wished I could have said good-bye to her, but I did get to the day I came back. I was waiting for my bus (since I catch the bus every day, or nearly every day.) and saw her walking up the path with Alistair. (not sure about the spelling of his name ^^; , but he's the guy she's staying with.) But, yeah, I was kinda suprised and really happy to see her, so I waved her over and talked to her for a little while. It was good to see her before she left.

I'll get over her eventually. Sorry I made you read through all of that ^^;

Well, I'm still tired and still have a headache so I'm gonna finish this post now.
